This is your opportunity to purchase this unusual form of art - feather painting. Eileen is one of a few artists to practice this technique in the UK. The ones shown here are turkey feathers and as each one differs naturally no two paintings are the same. Each one is complete with its own embellishment of beads and feathers.
They are painted in oils or acrylic paint and the mounted and framed painting measures approximately 180 x 320 cms (8 x 13 inches). If ordering from outside the UK please contact us for postage costs.

I only use legally imported feathers and occasionally I am able to find suitable fallen feathers. After cleaning and sterilizing, the feathers are given a light coat of matte sealer. This stops any oil or acrylic paint from seeping into the feather and gives a solid look to the finished painting.
All painted feathers come complete with an ivory coloured mount and set in a shadow box with
a light or dark coloured wooden frame. Please e-mail us your preference
