STORM - painting added March 2008  ( 52x73cms approx)
The painting of "Storm" was quite a journey.  It  started with some texture added to the blank canvas then I started adding colour -  I wanted it bold and colourful.  Materials used were artist quality acrylics, texture paste, acrylic gel, stencils and stamps.

The picture measures approximately 52x73 cms
Acrylic on cotton canvas

Welcome
Eileen, at Mansefield Arts, lives in Central/Southern Scotland close to The Borders where she is surrounded by the hills and countryside of South Lanarkshire.  The largest town around, Lanark, a market town and nearby Biggar are steeped in history with such famous names as William Wallace, Hugh McDuirmid and John Buchanan, it was also in Biggar that two farmers founded the Albion Motor Company.

It is in this setting that Eileen has her workshop and where she gets her ideas to create her art.
